Electronic Logging Device (ELD) Mandate Goes Live

ELD Mandate requires Commercial Trucking Companies to use Electronic Logging Devices
on the trucks to report driver’s Record of Duty Status (RODS).

Drivers can use an Electronic Logbook Application on smartphones or tablets to record driving information and maintain compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) rules. These purpose-specific mobile devices are prone to unintentional or intentional misuse. Moreover, updating Electronic Logbook Application on these devices to the newer version is also a problem especially, when they are constantly on a move.

ELD Tablet and Smartphone Lockdown

A large number of trucking companies use SureLock Kiosk Lockdown software to securely lockdown tablets and smartphones and allow only Electronic Logbook Application with few other specific applications for driver's use.
