42Gears Achieves CNA Status

42Gears, a leading provider of unified endpoint management (UEM) and mobility solutions for frontline and knowledge workers, is proud to announce its official recognition by the CVE Program as a CVE Numbering Authority (CNA). This demonstrates 42Gears’ ongoing commitment to enhancing its security practices and elevating its vulnerability management program to global standards.

The Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE®) Program is a globally recognized initiative that identifies, defines, and catalogs publicly disclosed cybersecurity vulnerabilities. As a designated CNA, 42Gears is now authorized to assign CVE IDs to vulnerabilities discovered in its own software products. This empowers 42Gears to publish accurate and timely vulnerability records, ensuring consistent and transparent communication with customers, partners, and the broader security community.

As part of its CNA responsibilities, 42Gears will collaborate with the CVE Program to maintain accurate vulnerability information, support coordinated disclosures, and promote cybersecurity best practices. This move underscores the company’s continued investment in transparency, secure-by-design development, and ethical vulnerability reporting.

42Gears remains dedicated to protecting its products and customers by encouraging security researchers and ethical hackers to report vulnerabilities through its Vulnerability Disclosure Program. This open and collaborative approach is vital to reducing security risks and improving product resilience.
