Dear Valued Customer,

At 42Gears, we are continuously working to improve the performance, reliability, and security of our services. As part of our ongoing infrastructure optimization, we are updating our third-party sub-processor list to include Cloudflare, Inc., effective 29 August, 2026.

What Is Changing?

We are migrating our backend file storage to Cloudflare to improve file transfer speed, stability, and delivery performance. As a result, your enrolled devices will experience faster downloads for applications (APKs), files, configurations, and log retrievals.

What Is NOT Changing?

  • Regional Data Boundaries: Your existing data residency commitments remain fully intact. Accounts hosted in the US, EU, APAC, and Middle East regions will continue to be stored and processed strictly within their respective geographic boundaries.
  • Specialized Residency Guarantees: Devices requiring strict Germany/EU-II localized residency will continue to be processed through dedicated regional instances.
  • Security & Encryption Standards: All stored files and metadata remain encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption and in transit via strong TLS protocols.
  • Core Functionality & Console Access: Daily operations, SureMDM management workflows, and console configurations will remain unaffected.

Action Required

Please review the table below to determine if your organization needs to update its network configurations:

Network Environment Impact & Action Required
Strict Network Controls (Firewalls, proxies, or web filters restricting outbound traffic) Action Required: Please forward the network configuration details below to your IT/Security team to ensure the required domains are allowlisted before 29 August, 2026.
Global endpoint:

EU Jurisdiction endpoint:
Standard Network Setup (Standard outbound internet access without strict domain filtering) No Action Required: Your devices will automatically connect to the upgraded storage infrastructure with zero downtime or service interruption.

Security, Compliance & Sub-Processors

Cloudflare complies with rigorous international security standards—including ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, and FedRAMP Moderate—and adheres strictly to global privacy regulations (including GDPR).
