SureMDM Security Update

Note: Applies only to SureMDM Server Install

A few months ago we were notified by an independent source about potential security vulnerabilities (e.g. Server Side Request Forgery) on certain installs of SureMDM. After careful analysis, we took steps to mitigate the potential risks even the minor ones. A patch update was released on Nov 27, 2018, and subsequently, all SureMDM On-premise customers have been notified to install the patch release. SureMDM Online service (hosted by 42Gears) is already secure and safe from any potential threats associated with the reported vulnerabilities.
