"A few of our customers that used one of our applications for mobile devices had some problems supporting the devices. The users installed games and chat programs. After they did that the mobile device could not connect to the network and showd some other weird problems. We had to find a way to avoid the user from installing other programs and avoid the user from using the PDA for private use.

"We had a requirement to produce a locked-box Windows Mobile device which restricted and controlled the programs and features which were available to the user. It was also essential that no user access could be gained to the device either by Activesync or in any other way. In addition, we needed to provide restricted internet access through a fullscreen browser.
Over the last few years we've tried and tested a number of different programs. None of them have been as competent or as versatile as SureLock in combination with KioskIE. Other similar programs either slowed the system down or they provided insufficient control of the device and browser. Surelock and KioskIE work seamlessly together and provide a stable platform from which to deliver an excellent user experience.
SureLock's easy configuration makes it simple to enable or restrict the programs and features which are available to the user. Custom set-ups can be produced in just a few minutes.
