Privileged Access Management (PAM) is the central system or mechanism companies use to securely manage and control privileged accounts, or more broadly any user accounts with elevated access to organizational resources. The privileged account user can be a human, device, application, or service. Standalone, centralized PAM systems often work in conjunction with IdP(Identity Providers) and IAM (Identity and Access Management) systems.
