But it won\u2019t be good if the users can press the Home button and easily quit SureFox. To restrict the iOS device to just SureFox we must configure the <\/span><b>Guided Access<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This allows you to set a passcode to <strong>lock<\/strong> the Home Button of your iPad and prevent a user from leaving SureFox<\/span><br \/>\n<!--\nFor <strong><a title=\"SureFox Homepage\" href=\"https:\/\/www.42gears.com\/surefox\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0431b4;\">SureFox<\/span><\/a><\/strong> to get into the lockdown mode, you have to set <strong>SureFox<\/strong> in<strong> Single Application Mode<\/strong> using <strong>Guided Access<\/strong>.\n--><br \/>\nHere is how you enable&nbsp;<strong>Guided Access<\/strong> with <strong>SureFox<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>1. Tap to <strong>Settings <\/strong>on<strong> Home Screen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3592 aligncenter\" title=\"surefox_settings\" src=\"https:\/\/www.42gears.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/surefox_settings11.png\" alt=\"surefox_settings\" width=\"484\" height=\"234\"><\/p>\n<p>2. Under <strong>Settings<\/strong>, tap on <strong>General<\/strong> and then&nbsp;<strong>Accessibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3582 aligncenter\" title=\"surefox_general\" src=\"https:\/\/www.42gears.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/surefox_general.png\" alt=\"surefox_general\" width=\"475\" height=\"226\"><\/p>\n<p>3. Under <strong>Accessibility<\/strong>, tap on <strong>Guided Access<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3583 aligncenter\" title=\"surefox_guided_access\" src=\"https:\/\/www.42gears.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/surefox_guided_access.png\" alt=\"surefox_guided_access\" width=\"477\" height=\"232\"><\/p>\n<p>4. On <strong>Guided Access<\/strong> screen, enable the <strong>Guided Access<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3584 aligncenter\" title=\"surefox_guided_access_enable\" src=\"https:\/\/www.42gears.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/surefox_guided_access_enable.png\" alt=\"surefox_guided_access_enable\" width=\"491\" height=\"231\"><\/p>\n<p>5. Next, tap on <strong>Set Password<\/strong> to set create<strong> Guided Access Password<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3585 aligncenter\" title=\"surefox_guided_access_set_password\" src=\"https:\/\/www.42gears.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/surefox_guided_access_set_password.png\" alt=\"surefox_guided_access_set_password\" width=\"481\" height=\"234\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">6. Set a new passcode<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3586 aligncenter\" title=\"surefox_guided_access_password\" src=\"https:\/\/www.42gears.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/surefox_guided_access_password.png\" alt=\"surefox_guided_access_password\" width=\"451\" height=\"285\">7. Now return back to <b>Home Screen<\/b> and launch <b>SureFox<\/b><\/p>\n<p>8. Once <b>SureFox<\/b> is launched, press the <b>Home<\/b> button three times to launch <b>Guided Access<\/b><\/p>\n<p>9. On <b>Guided Access<\/b> screen, specify following options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><b>Hardware Button<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 Enable\/Disable power and volume button of the device.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\nEnabling this option gives admin the ability to let the end user control the hardware buttons such as volume and&nbsp; &nbsp;power button. For example, if the device is deployed as web kiosk at a library, the admin can make sure that the end user does not have the option to turn off the devices as well as increase the volume which may disrupt the library environment.<\/span><\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><b>Touch<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 Enable\/Disable Touch.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\nDisabling this option will disable the screen from responding to any touch inputs. For example, this feature could be very helpful if the iOS device is deployed as digital signage running promotional videos. The end user will not be able to disturb the flow of the videos by intentionally or unintentionally touching the screen.<\/span><strong>&nbsp; <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><b>Motion<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 Enable\/Disable Motion. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\nDisabling this feature ensures that the motion related features are not triggered when the device undergoes through different physical movements. For example, an admin can disable the end user from changing the orientation of the screen from landscape to portrait or vice versa based on the requirement of the app.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>10. Once, the details are specified, tap on <b>Start<\/b> on top- right of the screen<\/p>\n<p>11. Your Guided Access is <b>ON<\/b> with <b>SureFox<\/b> and ready for use<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you want to get out of the <\/span><b>Guided Access Mode<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or you want to make changes in the settings, press the <\/span><b>Home<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> button three times to launch the password prompt.
