Steps to Configure AstroMail on Android devices<\/b><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Log in to <\/span>42Gears UEM Console<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> Click <\/span>Profiles<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> Select <\/span>Android<\/b> as the operating system and click <\/span>Add<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> Under <\/span>Android Work<\/b> profile, click <\/span>Mail Configuration<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"42Gears<\/p>\n

5.<\/strong> <\/span>Select <\/span>Using AstroMail App<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"42Gears<\/p>\n

6.<\/strong> Enter<\/span> Email address<\/b>, Server Path<\/strong> and Username<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"42Gears<\/p>\n

7.<\/strong> From the Type dropdown, select the type of configuration as <\/span>IMAP<\/b>, <\/span>POP3<\/b> or <\/span>Active Sync<\/b>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Example<\/strong>: If you select <\/span>IMAP\/POP3, <\/b> <\/span>enter a username.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Under<\/span> Incoming Mail,<\/b> enter<\/span> Mail Server and Port<\/b> address. <\/b>Select <\/span>Security<\/b> as SSL\/TLS.   <\/span><\/p>\n

Example<\/strong>:<\/em> Sample Mail Server and Port Address: imap.gmail.com and 993.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Under <\/span>Outgoing Mail<\/b> tab, enter <\/span>Mail Server <\/b>and <\/span>Port address.<\/b> Select <\/span>Security<\/b> as SSL\/TLS.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sample Mail Server and Port Address: <\/span><\/i>smtp.gmail.com<\/span>  and <\/span><\/i>465<\/span><\/p>\n

Note<\/strong>: IMAP\/POP3 works with Gmail and Active Sync works with Microsoft Outlook<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

8. <\/strong>The following restrictions are available under Incoming Mail<\/b> and Outgoing Mail<\/b> which makes AstroMail even more secure.<\/p>\n

– Restriction On Replying To Email To Outside Domain<\/b> restricts the user from replying to unauthorized emails.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Restriction On Replying To Email Within Domain <\/b>restricts the user from replying to emails within the organization.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Restriction On Forwarding Email To Outside Domain <\/b>prohibits users from forwarding incoming mails outside the organization.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Restriction On Forwarding Email Within Domain <\/b>prohibits users from forwarding incoming emails within the organization.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Restriction With Forwarding Attachment <\/b>prohibits users from forwarding emails with attachment.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Restriction On Downloading Attachment <\/b>prohibits users from downloading any email attachment.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Restriction On Viewing Attachment <\/b>prohibits users from viewing any attachment in the mail.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Screenshot Restriction <\/b>prohibits users from taking any mail screenshots.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Disallow Copy To Clipboard <\/b>restricts the user from copying emails to the clipboard<\/span><\/p>\n

9.<\/strong> Once all the restrictions are enabled, Save<\/b> the profile.<\/p>\n
