SureLock <\/strong>allows you to add shortcuts of your Images, PDFs, Videos, Music files on the SureLock Home Screen<\/strong> along with device applications. It requires you to first enable shortcuts feature in SureLock<\/strong> and then add shortcuts of files on SureLock Home Screen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

To enable Shortcuts<\/strong> in SureLock<\/strong>, follow below mentioned steps:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Login<\/em> to SureLock<\/strong>\u2019s Admin Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> Tap<\/em> on Manage Shortcuts <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> Under Manage Shortcuts<\/strong>, tap<\/em> and check<\/em> Accept New Shortcuts<\/strong><\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> Tap<\/em> on Done<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are two<\/strong> methods of adding shortcuts of files on SureLock Home Screen<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

METHOD 1<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Login<\/em> to SureLock<\/strong>‘s Admin Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n

2.<\/strong>  Tap<\/em> on Manage Shortcuts<\/strong><\/p>\n

3.<\/strong>  Under Manage Shortcuts<\/strong>, tap<\/em> and check<\/em> Accept New Shortcuts<\/strong><\/p>\n

4<\/strong>.  Exit<\/em> SureLock <\/strong>and return to Device Home<\/strong><\/p>\n

5.<\/strong>  Browse<\/em> the device files with a File Browser<\/strong> (eg. ES File Explorer<\/em>, Astro File Manager<\/em>, etc<\/em>.) and create<\/em> shortcuts of the files you wish to allow on the SureLock Home Screen<\/strong><\/p>\n

6.<\/strong> <\/em> If the shortcut requires a particular supporting application to run or to function then the application should also be allowed as an Allowed Application<\/strong> and can be hidden using Allowed Application<\/strong>\u2019s Hide Icon<\/strong> in <\/strong>Home Screen<\/strong> option.<\/p>\n

Example<\/strong>: If you have added a PDF <\/strong>file’s shortcut then you should also allow a PDF Reader<\/strong> as an allowed application and can be hidden in the SureLock Home Screen<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n

7.  <\/strong>The Shortcuts<\/strong> are automatically imported to the SureLock Home Screen<\/strong><\/p>\n

8.  <\/strong>Go to Manage Shortcuts <\/strong><\/strong>and uncheck<\/em> Accept New Shortcuts <\/strong><\/strong>to avoid further import of Shortcuts<\/strong> from the device<\/p>\n
