Its time taking,&nbsp;repetitive process and not to forget the human errors which might occur during the task. However, good news is that if you are using <strong>SureLock<\/strong> or <strong>SureFox<\/strong> on your Android smartphone\/tablet, you can set up WiFi on your devices automatically. Lets know more about it in detail.<\/p>\n<p>If you have used <strong>SureLock<\/strong>\/<strong>SureFox<\/strong> for <strong>Android<\/strong>, you must be familiar with the <strong>Import\/Export Settings<\/strong> feature which is used to configure the <strong>SureLock<\/strong>\/<strong>SureFox Settings<\/strong> on your device. The same settings file can now be used to provision WiFi on your devices too.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0040ff;\">To configure WiFi using settings file, follow the steps below:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"><strong>1.<\/strong> Launch <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">SureLock<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"> on any Android device.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"><strong>2.<\/strong>&nbsp;Access the <strong>Admin Settings<\/strong> and go to <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Import\/Export Settings<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"><strong>3.<\/strong> Tap on <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Export to File<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">&nbsp;and choose any location of your&nbsp;device&nbsp;to export the <strong>Settings File<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>4.<\/strong> Once you have the<strong> Settings File<\/strong>, open it in any text editor. Scroll down the settings and you will find a section as shown in the screenshot below:<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1585\" style=\"width: 710px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/live-42gears-site.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/wifi-provisioning.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1585\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1585\" title=\"Provisioning WiFi using settings file\" src=\"http:\/\/live-42gears-site.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/wifi-provisioning.png\" alt=\"Provisioning WiFi using settings file\" width=\"700\" height=\"403\"><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1585\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Exported Settings file<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>5.<\/strong> By default, the <strong>wifiSettings<\/strong>&nbsp;will be commented. Remove the comments and enter your WiFi credentials for use.&nbsp;<span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Following terms have been used in the settings file:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"><em>ClearSavedNetwork<\/em><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">: If the value is true, SureLock\/SureFox will clear all the saved WiFi networks from the device.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"><strong>ssid<\/strong><\/em><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">: Enter the apn name of your WiFi network<\/span><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"><strong>password<\/strong><\/em><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">: Enter the password for your WiFi network<\/span><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"><strong>securitytype<\/strong><\/em><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">: Specify the security type of your WiFi network<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">6.<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"> Save the <strong>Settings File<\/strong> after entering the required information and import it on the device you want to configure the WiFi.
