The tracking information can be used to know the current location of a device as well as use the locations where the device has been through before it reached the destination. This feature can be used by logistics, warehousing, on-site engineers or any industry which has its devices out in the field to keep a track of the device and its user\u2019s location. The following location tracking features are now supported in<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">SureMDM<\/span><\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Locate multiple devices on single map<\/li>\n<li>Real-time display of location with auto-update of map every 10 seconds<\/li>\n<li>Historical breadcrumb data to display locations of device(s)<\/li>\n<li>Turn ON\/OFF location tracking for individual device<\/li>\n<li>Configure periodicity interval for individual device after which it updates its location to server<\/li>\n<li>Configurable Date &amp; Time Interval in History view<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>To enable your device(s) for tracking, follow these steps:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>1<\/strong>. Everything is perfect. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/yellow_warning1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2932\" title=\"yellow_warning\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/yellow_warning1.png\" alt=\"yellow_warning\" width=\"17\" height=\"18\"><\/a>&nbsp;A <\/span><em style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Warning Mark<\/em><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">&nbsp;means tracking is off but location is available with SureMDM server. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/red_cross1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2933\" title=\"red_cross\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/red_cross1.png\" alt=\"red_cross\" width=\"17\" height=\"18\"><\/a>&nbsp;A <\/span><em style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Cross Mark<\/em><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">&nbsp;means tracking is not enabled and location is also not available.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">The second column displays the status of device:&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/green_available1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2934\" title=\"green_available\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/green_available1.png\" alt=\"green_available\" width=\"17\" height=\"18\"><\/a>&nbsp;A <\/span><em style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Green Light<\/em><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">&nbsp;means the device is currently online. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/grey1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2935\" title=\"grey_available\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/grey1.png\" alt=\"grey_available\" width=\"18\" height=\"18\"><\/a>A <\/span><em style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Grey Light<\/em><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">&nbsp;means there is a problem between server and device&#8217;s connectivity and the device is offline.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>SureMDM Location Tracker&nbsp;window has two options:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>RealTime:&nbsp;<\/strong>The&nbsp;<strong>Real Time<\/strong>&nbsp;mode displays the current location of the device. Click on the device to display the device name and time at which location was last received from the device. RealTime Mode has the following options:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; Refresh<\/strong> : The&nbsp;<strong>Real Time<\/strong>map auto refreshes itself every 10 seconds. However, you can refresh manually using the&nbsp;<strong>Refresh<\/strong>&nbsp;button at any point of time.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Note<\/em><\/strong><em>: <\/em><em>&nbsp;<strong>Refresh<\/strong>&nbsp;only refreshes the map to display the latest available location from the device. This does not fetch the location from device.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; History:&nbsp;<\/strong>The&nbsp;<em>History<\/em>&nbsp;mode displays the historical track of the device. Click on the device to display the device name and time at which location was last received from the device.
