Single Application Mode<\/b> is a powerful feature in <\/span>SureLock <\/b><\/a>(Android\/Windows 7\/8\/8.1\/10 version). In this mode, <\/span>SureLock<\/b> allows one and only one application to remain in the foreground all the time. <\/span>Single Application Mode<\/b> strictly locks down the Android\/Windows 7\/8\/8.1\/10 tablets or desktops with access to nothing else other than the approved application. Any attempt by the user to access any other application or functionality is completely blocked.<\/span><\/p>\n

During Single Application Mode<\/strong>, it might be little tricky for the administrator to quit SureLock<\/strong> or to modify its settings however there are specific ways to do so:<\/p>\n

\"android_logo\" For Android<\/span>:<\/strong><\/p>\n

When SureLock is running:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reboot the device and tap <\/span>ten times <\/b>within <\/span>five seconds<\/b> on the SureLock home screen to launch the password prompt. Enter the SureLock password in the password prompt to access the SureLock<\/strong> Settings<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Note:<\/b> This option would be available only once after the device powers on. To use this feature again the admin will need to reboot the device.<\/span><\/p>\n

When SureLock is loading:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Switch Off<\/b> the device and <\/span>Restart<\/b> it<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Note<\/strong>: If you have enabled Suppress Power Button\/Keyboard<\/strong> option, restart the device with a long press of the power button.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

2. After restart, <\/span>SureLock<\/b> will start loading automatically. <\/span>SureLock<\/b>\u2019s loading screen (as shown below) is displayed for <\/span>20 seconds<\/b> by default<\/span><\/p>\n

3. On loading screen, the administrator can tap anywhere <\/span>five times<\/b> within <\/span>three seconds<\/b> or tap on <\/span>Back Button five times<\/b> to launch the password prompt. Enter the SureLock password and tap Go To Admin Settings<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"SureLock<\/p>\n

Note<\/i><\/b>: If <\/span>device is locked by Android system password, unlock the device to see the <\/span><\/span><\/i>SureLock Loading Screen<\/i><\/b>. The loading screen timeout is configured through <\/span><\/i>Bootup Delay<\/i><\/b> option in <\/span><\/i>SureLock Settings<\/i><\/b> which is always set to a value of <\/span><\/i>20 seconds <\/i><\/b>(default). This value can be increased as per the requirement of administrator.<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

4. Go to<\/span> SureLock Settings<\/b> and disable the <\/span>Single Application Mode.<\/b><\/p>\n

If the admin wants to get the password prompt in Single application mode without rebooting the device, follow the below-mentioned steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Tap 10 times on the screen when the  Allowed Application is running to launch the password prompt and e<\/span>nter the SureLock password.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. <\/span>Go to SureLock Admin Settings<\/strong> -> SureLock Settings<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"SureLock<\/p>\n

3. On Single Application Mode<\/strong> screen, select Enable Password Prompt<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

This feature will ensure that admin can access SureLock<\/strong> settings anytime on the device without rebooting the device.<\/span><\/p>\n

When using Windows devices:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Press <\/span>Windows<\/b> key<\/b> on the keyboard 10<\/span> times<\/b> to launch the Password Prompt to access <\/span>SureLock Settings<\/b><\/p>\n
