\"blockControl + Alt + Delete<\/strong> is a powerful key combination to terminate a running program\/task or restart a computer\/Windows device. Blocking this key combination becomes crucial when your Windows 7<\/strong> or Windows 8<\/strong> device is being used as a kiosk.<\/p>\n

SureLock<\/span><\/a><\/strong> blocks this key combination with its Keyboard Filtering <\/strong>feature.<\/p>\n

To block Control + Alt +Delete<\/strong>, follow below mentioned steps:<\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> On SureLock Home Screen<\/strong>, tap anywhere 5<\/strong> times within 3<\/strong> seconds to launch SureLock Password Console<\/strong><\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> On password prompt, enter default password 0000 <\/strong>(four zeros) and tap\/click on OK<\/strong><\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> On successful login, you will be on the SureLock Settings Main Menu<\/strong><\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> On Main Menu<\/strong>, tap\/click on Keyboard Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"SureLock<\/p>\n

5.<\/strong> On Keyboard Settings <\/strong>screen, tap\/click on Keyboard Filtering <\/strong>which will enable Configure Keyboard Filtering<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"SureLock<\/p>\n

6.<\/strong> Tap\/click on Configure Keyboard Filtering<\/strong> to add\/edit keyboard combinations that needs to be blocked<\/p>\n

\"SureLock<\/p>\n

7.<\/strong> On Keyboard Filtering Configuration<\/strong> screen, tap\/click on the Add Key<\/strong> button to add a keyboard combination that needs to be blocked<\/p>\n

\"SureLock<\/p>\n

8.<\/strong> Select Delete <\/strong>from the Key<\/strong> drop down box, check Ctrl <\/strong>and Alt <\/strong>check boxes and tap\/click on Add<\/strong><\/p>\n

9.<\/strong>  After you see a screen like below, click on Done<\/strong><\/p>\n

10.<\/strong> Make sure that the Keyboard Filtering <\/strong>check box is checked and then go back to the SureLock Home Screen<\/strong><\/p>\n

11.<\/strong> Now, the keyboard combination of Control + Alt + Delete<\/strong> is successfully blocked<\/p>\n
