There are times when you want to upgrade SureLock<\/span> <\/a>on devices which are not physically present with you and you also don’t want any interruptions of activities on those devices during upgrades. Running silent or unattended upgrades will solve this problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now with SureMDM Nix Agent for Samsung<\/span><\/a>, you can perform a silent or unattended upgrade of  SureLock for Samsung<\/span><\/a>, which means:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      No need to disable the lockdown for upgrade<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      No interaction required from the user<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      No display or indication of upgrade in device<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      No device reboot required<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is how you can perform silent or unattended upgrade SureLock for Samsung<\/span><\/a> using SureMDM Nix Agent for Samsung<\/span><\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. <\/strong>Access SureLock for Samsung Admin Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. <\/strong>Check and enable Disable Other Home Screens <\/strong>and Enable Watchdog Service<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3<\/strong>. Now, Enable Nix Services<\/strong> in SureMDM Nix Agent for Samsung<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

4<\/strong>. Tap and enable, Enable Admin<\/strong> option<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5<\/strong>. Next, Login to SureMDM Web Console<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

6<\/strong>. Go to Jobs<\/strong> and click on New<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"create_job\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

7<\/strong>.  Select Android<\/strong> and then Install Program<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"android_install_program1\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

8<\/strong>. On Multiple Install Job Properties<\/strong> prompt, tap on Add<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

9<\/strong>.  Next, browse and select the new S<\/strong>ureLock <\/strong>apk file and specify the path on device for the installation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10<\/strong>. Check Install After Copy<\/strong> and click on OK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

11<\/strong>. Now, create Run Script<\/strong> Job with following script:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12<\/strong>. Now create a Composite Job<\/strong> with above Install Program<\/strong> and Install Script<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

13<\/strong>. Select the device from the list of devices and Apply<\/strong> the Composite Job<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

14<\/strong>. Once the Job<\/strong> is applied, SureLock for Samsung<\/strong> will be silently upgraded in the device<\/p>\n\n\n\n
