Enable analytics and content blocking in SureFox<\/b><\/h2>\n

Enable SureFox Analytics on an Android device<\/b><\/h3>\n

To enable analytics in SureFox, install <\/span>SureFox<\/b>, launch it and follow the below-mentioned steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Tap on <\/span>SureFox Home Screen<\/b>, <\/span>5 times <\/b>within <\/span>3 seconds<\/b> to launch the password prompt.<\/span><\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> Enter the password and tap\u00a0<\/span>OK<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> On<\/span> SureFox Settings<\/b> screen, go to<\/span> Browser Preferences<\/b> ><\/span> SureFox Analytics Settings<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> Enable <\/span>SureFox Analytics<\/b> and tap\u00a0<\/span>Done<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

NOTE:<\/span> If you want to get <\/span><\/i>SureFox Analytics<\/i><\/b> reports through email at a scheduled time, under <\/span><\/i>SureFox Analytics Settings<\/i><\/b>, use the <\/span><\/i>Schedule Export<\/i><\/b> option to specify your email address and <\/span><\/i>Schedule Export<\/i><\/b> to specify the date and time.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Enable SureFox Content Blocking option on an Android\u00a0 device<\/b><\/h3>\n

To enable content blocking in SureFox, follow the below-mentioned steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Launch SureFox<\/b> and tap on the screen 5 times<\/b> to launch the password prompt.<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> Enter default password 0000<\/b> and go to the SureFox Admin Settings<\/b> screen.<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> On the SureFox Settings<\/b> screen, tap on Browser Preferences<\/b>.<\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> Go to Advanced Settings<\/b> and enable the Enable Content Blocking<\/b> option.<\/p>\n

5.<\/strong> Tap on Add<\/b> keywords<\/b> to block access<\/b> option.<\/p>\n

6.<\/strong> On the Enter Keywords<\/b> prompt, add keywords separated by commas and tap OK<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

7.<\/strong> Go to <\/span>Browser Preferences<\/strong> > SureFox Analytics Settings<\/strong> \u00a0<\/span>and select\u00a0<\/span>Content Blocking Analytics<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>and click<\/span>\u00a0Done<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once these steps are successfully completed, whenever a user uses the SureFox browser to access web pages that has any of the keywords listed, a toast message will appear informing that access to that page is blocked due to content filtering.<\/span><\/p>\n

Generate reports in SureMDM Web Console<\/b><\/h2>\n

SureMDM<\/b><\/a> allows IT admins to generate custom reports for allowed websites and content filtering in SureFox. This SureFox Analytics report can be generated for single or multiple devices for specific dates using the 42Gears UEM Console.<\/span><\/p>\n

*Please note that SureFox Analytics is available only for premium accounts. This option will be available only for admin, not sub users.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Generate SureFox Analytics Reports<\/b><\/h3>\n

SureFox Analytics Report lists all the activities in the SureFox browser with details of the device, URL open and close time with total browse time on the allowed websites.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To generate analytics report (assuming that the device is enrolled in SureMDM, if not read here to learn how) follow the below-mentioned steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Login to <\/span>SureMDM Web Console<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> On <\/span>SureMDM Home<\/b>, click <\/span>Settings <\/b>and <\/span>Account Settings<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> On <\/span>Account Settings <\/b>screen, click <\/span>Data Analytics<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> Next, enable<\/span> Enable Data Analytics<\/b> ><\/span> SureFox Analytics<\/b> and click <\/span>Show <\/b>for <\/span>Secret Key<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

5.<\/strong> Note down the secret key and click <\/span>Apply<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/b>The settings will get updated.<\/p>\n

6.<\/strong> Once done, go to Reports ><\/b> Custom Reports ><\/b> Add ><\/b> check SureFox Analytics <\/b>checkbox and click Add<\/b> to add it under Selected Table List<\/b>.<\/p>\n

7.<\/strong> Give a <\/span>Name<\/b>\/<\/span>Description<\/b> and click <\/span>Save<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

8.<\/strong> Now, go to<\/span> On Demand Reports<\/b> and select the created <\/span>Custom Report<\/b>, select the device or group and the date range.<\/span><\/p>\n

9.<\/strong> Click Request Report<\/b>.<\/p>\n

10.<\/strong> Go to the <\/span>View Reports <\/b>tab and use <\/span>Download <\/b>or <\/span>View <\/b>link to download or view the report.<\/span><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> If you want to remotely enable SureFox Analytics on an enrolled device, you can push the following script to the device using Run Script job:<\/i><\/p>\n

To generate this report (assuming that the device is enrolled in SureMDM, if not read here to learn how) and follow the below-mentioned steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Login to <\/span>SureMDM Web Console<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

2<\/b>. On <\/span>SureMDM Home<\/b>, click on <\/span>Settings <\/b>and <\/span>Account Settings<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

3<\/b>. On <\/span>Account Settings <\/b>screen, click <\/span>Data Analytics<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

4<\/b>. Next, enable<\/span> Enable Data Analytics<\/b> and click <\/span>Add Analytics<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

5<\/b>. Under the new section, give a name, a tag name and click <\/span>Add Field<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

6<\/b>. Add fields like <\/span>URL<\/b>, <\/span>Blocked Time<\/b> and <\/span>Type <\/b>and click <\/span>Save<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

7<\/b>. A secret key will be generated.<\/span><\/p>\n

8<\/b>. Note down the secret key and click <\/span>Apply<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

9.<\/strong> Once done, go to Reports ><\/b> Custom Reports ><\/b> Add.<\/b><\/p>\n

10.<\/strong> Find the created analytics under Tables list<\/b>, select it and add it under Selected Table List<\/b>.<\/p>\n
