Note: <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

1. SureMDM<\/strong> and database can be installed on the same server machine depending on the availability and requirements.<\/em><\/p>\n

2. Database size will grow depending on amount of data stored as logs and job packages created in SureMDM<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Installation Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Copy SureMDMWSqlExpress.msi<\/strong> and setup.exe<\/strong> to a folder on the server<\/p>\n

2. Launch setup.exe<\/strong> to start the installation.<\/p>\n

Note<\/strong>: This will download and install all pre-requisites for SureMDM followed by SureMDM Installation.<\/em><\/p>\n

3. SureMDM<\/strong> Server<\/strong> Setup Wizard<\/strong>\u2019s Welcome screen will appear<\/p>\n

4. Press Next<\/strong> to proceed<\/p>\n

5. Next screen will have License Agreement<\/strong>. Go through the details and if you agree, select I Agree<\/strong> and click on Next<\/strong><\/p>\n

6. Choose ASP.NET v4.0<\/strong> or DefaultAppPool<\/strong> from Application Pool<\/strong> drop down menu and click Next<\/strong> to continue.<\/p>\n

7. Next, Nix Configuration Utility<\/strong> will launch. Check the server path value. This must be the host name or the IP address of the server on which you are installing SureMDM. Once done. click on Configure<\/strong> to proceed.<\/p>\n

8. Once configured, following message will show up. Note down the path mentioned  and use this path later to download Nix Agent<\/strong> on your mobile device.<\/p>\n

9. On Installation Complete<\/strong> screen, click Close<\/strong> to finish installation.<\/p>\n

10. After the installation is over, access http:\/\/<servername>\/suremdm\/ <\/strong>to access setup page <\/span><\/p>\n

11. On the Database Setup<\/strong> page, create an account by filling out following details and clicking on Create Account<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

       Company Name<\/em>
\n       Name<\/em>
\n       Email<\/em>
\n       Login Username<\/em>
\n       Login Password<\/em><\/p>\n

12. Once done, the next page will give you a confirmation that the account is created. Click on Login to Console<\/strong> to login<\/p>\n

13. Use the User Name<\/strong> and Password<\/strong> created in Step 11 <\/strong>to log into the SureMDM Web Console<\/strong><\/p>\n

Enrolling a device<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once SureMDM Nix <\/strong>is installed on the device from the designated link (refer step no. 7 ) <\/strong>or Google Play Store<\/span><\/a><\/strong>, enroll a device with your SureMDM account by following below mentioned steps:<\/p>\n

1. Launch SureMDM Nix<\/strong> on your device and tap on Get Started<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. On the next screen, enter SureMDM Account ID<\/strong> as 1<\/strong> and tap on Register<\/strong><\/p>\n

3. Enter the Server Path<\/strong> in Configure Server Path<\/strong> field and tap on Set Server Path<\/strong><\/p>\n

Note<\/strong>: Refer to SureMDM Installation<\/strong> step no. 7<\/strong> <\/strong>for the Server Path<\/strong> details.<\/em><\/p>\n

4. Next screen, configure a name for the device and tap on Set Device Name<\/strong><\/p>\n
