Visualizing data can undoubtedly make things faster and easier. A graphical representation of data is oftentimes the most effective way to convey a message or to draw a conclusion from hundreds of data points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Mobile device management with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.42gears.com\/products\/suremdm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"42Gears SureMDM (opens in a new tab)\">42Gears SureMDM<\/a><\/strong> lets you monitor a large fleet of devices on a single dashboard, and visualize key aspects and values using color-coded graphs. With the <strong>Data Analytics <\/strong>feature in SureMDM, you can view graphs that summarize all devices, or drill down to a device or list of devices by simply clicking on corresponding parts of the graphs.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two types of widgets that you can create:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Device Count<\/strong> &#8211; With this option, you can configure a widget which will represent the analytics data as a graph with comparisons.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"background-color: #fff2f2; border-left: 4px solid #4C83BB; padding: 24px;\">\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 0px;text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: #4C83BB;\">EXAMPLE: <\/span><em>You can use the <\/em><strong><em>Device Count<\/em><\/strong><em> option to configure a widget that uses SureMDM\u2019s <\/em><strong><em>Data Analytics<\/em><\/strong><em> report for <\/em><strong><em>Battery Level. <\/em><\/strong><em>Once you specify maximum and medium values, the graph in the widget will show a color-coded graph with low, medium and high value for a specified period (see the screenshot below)<\/em><\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<br>\n<center><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width:60%;border:1px solid #cccccc;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.42gears.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Device-Count.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/center>\n<br>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"text-align:justify;\"><li><strong>Aggregation <\/strong>&#8211; With this option,&nbsp; you can configure a widget to show analytics data as a graph <em>without <\/em>any comparisons. It simply plots <strong>Time Span<\/strong> against the overall <strong>Aggregate Value<\/strong> <em>(like the screenshot below)<\/em>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<br>\n<center><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width:70%;border:1px solid #cccccc;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.42gears.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Aggregate-Value.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/center>\n<br>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"background-color: #fff2f2; border-left: 4px solid #FF4444; padding: 24px;\">\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 0px;text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: #ff4444;\">NOTE: <\/span><em>You can define the <\/em><strong><em>Aggregate Value<\/em><\/strong><em> as the Sum, Average, Minimum or Maximum of the data<\/em><em>. For example, If you select the <\/em><strong><em>Sum <\/em><\/strong><em>as the aggregate value, the widget will take sum of all the data recorded for that period and plot it on the graph.<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 style=\"font-size:24px;\"><strong>Start using the Data Analytics feature in SureMDM<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is how you can start using the <strong>Data Analytics <\/strong>feature in SureMDM:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Log in to the <strong>SureMDM Web Console.<\/strong><\/li><li>Click on <strong>Dashboard.<\/strong><\/li><li>On the <strong>Dashboard <\/strong>screen, select <strong>Analytics <\/strong>under <strong>Data Analytics <\/strong>and click on the <strong>+<\/strong> icon to add a new widget on the dashboard.<\/li><li>Click <strong>Config <\/strong>on the new widget to launch the configuration prompt.<\/li><li>Choose from <strong>Device Count<\/strong> or <strong>Aggregation<\/strong>.<\/li><li>To set up a widget, enter the following details:<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Name Of The Widget<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Time Span<\/strong>: Select from Last 24 Hours, Last Week, Last 30 Days or specify a custom range.<\/li><li style=\"text-align:justify;\"><strong>Data Source<\/strong>: This is the source from which the data is to be collected. When you click on the dropdown menu, you will see the list of analytics available. They are either <em>analytics with floating values created in the <strong>Data<\/strong> <strong>Analytics <\/strong>section under <strong>Account<\/strong> <strong>Settings<\/strong> or, default analytics for device details listed in the <strong>Device Info<\/strong> section<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"background-color: #fff2f2; border-left: 4px solid #FF4444; padding: 24px;\">\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 0px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: #ff4444;\">NOTE: <\/span><em>To view analytics with floating values, go to <strong>Settings <\/strong>&gt; <strong>Account Settings <\/strong>&gt; <strong>Data Analytics<\/strong> and look for entries that have their value listed as <strong>Float<\/strong> (see the screenshot below).<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<br>\n\n\n\n<center><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width:70%;border:1px solid #cccccc;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.42gears.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Floating.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/center><br>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Analysis Data<\/strong>: This is the data value that needs to be extracted from the source.&nbsp;In the screenshot above, the floating <strong>Battery Level value<\/strong> is the <strong>Analysis Data<\/strong><em>.<\/em><\/li><li>&nbsp;<strong>X-Axis Content<\/strong>: This represents the value that needs to be plotted on the X Axis of the widget.<\/li><li><strong>High Value (Device Count only)<\/strong>&#8211; This is the highest value to be considered when the graph is created in the widget.<\/li><li><strong>Medium Value (Device Count only) <\/strong>&#8211; This is the medium value to be considered when the graph is created in the widget.<\/li><li><strong>Aggregate Value (Aggregation Only) <\/strong>&#8211; This is the value that the widget will extract from the <strong>Analysis Data<\/strong>. You can select this value to be the sum, average, maximum or minimum.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>7.
