Or a user B could remotely lock the devices but is not allowed to remotely wipe the device.<\/p>\n<p>SureMDM now has a new feature using which SureMDM administrator of an account can control permissions for other users. As an Administrator, you can configure the permissions of an existing user or while creating a new user.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Steps to set User Access Permissions for an existing user:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Click on <b>Settings<\/b>&nbsp;icon on top right of <a href=\"https:\/\/suremdm.42gears.com\/console\/\">SureMDM Web Console<\/a><\/p>\n<p>2. Select <strong>User Management<\/strong> from the dropdown menu<\/p>\n<p>3. <strong>User&nbsp;Management<\/strong> prompt will list all the existing users<\/p>\n<p>4. Select a user and click <strong>Edit User<\/strong> to modify the&nbsp;permissions<\/p>\n<p>5.&nbsp;On <strong>Edit User Settings<\/strong> prompt, click on <strong>User Permissions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>6. On <strong>User<\/strong> <strong>Permissions<\/strong> prompt, make the desirable changes in the <a href=\"http:\/\/live-42gears-site.pantheonsite.io\/blog\/efficient-emm-user-management-using-suremdm\/\">permissions<\/a> for the user and click <strong>OK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Steps to set User Access Permissions for a new user:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Click on <b>Settings<\/b>&nbsp;icon on top right of SureMDM Web Console<\/p>\n<p>2. Select <strong>User Management<\/strong> from the dropdown menu<\/p>\n<p>3. <strong>User&nbsp;Management<\/strong> prompt will list all the existing users<\/p>\n<p>4. Click on <strong>Add&nbsp;User<\/strong> to add a new user with customized permissions<\/p>\n<p>5. On&nbsp;<strong>Create New User<\/strong> prompt, enter the following details and click on <strong>User Permissions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; User Name<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Password<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; First and Last Name<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Email<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Phone number<\/p>\n<p>6. On <strong>User<\/strong> <strong>Permissions<\/strong> prompt, customize the <a href=\"http:\/\/live-42gears-site.pantheonsite.io\/blog\/efficient-emm-user-management-using-suremdm\/\">permissions<\/a> for the user and click <strong>OK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>7.
