If you are enrolling and approving multiple devices in your MDM, the process of manually approving each of those devices can be time consuming.<\/p>\n

SureMDM<\/span><\/a><\/strong>makes it easy by allowing importing of a list with pre-approved devices details. Once this list is imported in SureMDM, whenever a new device is enrolled, SureMDM checks the pre-approved list and approves the device automatically if listed. To create this setup, below are three steps to be followed:<\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Creating a pre-approved list<\/strong> with device details<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> Importing the file with list of pre-approved devices in SureMDM<\/strong><\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> Configuring SureMDM Nix Agent<\/strong><\/p>\n

STEP 1:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

To create a pre-approved list<\/strong> follow below mentioned steps:<\/p>\n

1<\/strong>. Open Notepad<\/strong><\/p>\n

2<\/strong>. Enter device details in following format:<\/p>\n

– Using MAC Address<\/strong> of the device:<\/p>\n

      Device Name, MAC Address, MAC, Group Name\/Sub Group Name<\/em><\/p>\n

      Example: Device1, ab:55:c5:55:5d, MAC, Home\/NorthAmerica<\/em><\/p>\n

– Using IMEI Number<\/strong> of the device:<\/p>\n

      Device name, IMEI number, IMEIGroup Name\/Sub Group Name<\/em><\/p>\n

       Example: Device1,355555555555555, IMEI, Home\/NorthAmerica<\/em><\/p>\n

Note<\/strong>: You can skip „Group Name\/Sub Group Name<\/strong>“ if you don’t want the devices to be assigned to any group.<\/em><\/p>\n

3<\/strong>. Name and save the file in .csv<\/strong> format<\/p>\n

STEP 2:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

To import the pre-approved list of devices in SureMDM Web Console<\/strong>, follow below mentioned steps:<\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Log into SureMDM Web Console<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> On SureMDM<\/strong> Home<\/strong>, click on Preapproved<\/strong> option under home<\/p>\n

\"automatic<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> On Preapproved<\/strong> screen, click on Import<\/strong><\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> Browse and select the file<\/p>\n

Now, whenever the devices with listed IMEI<\/strong> Number<\/strong> or MAC<\/strong> Address<\/strong> in the .csv<\/strong> file are enrolled, they automatically get approved and get added in Device List<\/strong> section or assigned group.<\/p>\n

STEP 3:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

To configure SureMDM Nix Agent<\/strong>, follow below mentioned steps:<\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Launch SureMDM Nix Agent<\/strong><\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> On SureMDM Welcome<\/strong> screen, tap on Get Started<\/strong><\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> Enter the account number in Enter SureMDM Account ID<\/strong> field and tap on Register<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"suremdm_register\"<\/a><\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> Next screen, select Use MAC Address<\/strong> or Use IMEI Number<\/strong> from the given options and tap on Set Device Name<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"suremdm_name_options\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Note<\/strong>: The name selected here would be the identification of the device for the auto approval in SureMDM Web Console, hence selecting the correct option between IMEI<\/strong> and MAC<\/strong> Address<\/strong> is important.<\/em><\/p>\n

5<\/strong>. Tap on Activate<\/strong> to activate device administrator<\/p>\n

6<\/strong>. Next screen will be the SureMDM Nix Home Screen<\/strong><\/p>\n
