Sometimes you might need to allow few URL shortcuts on your SureLock homescreen, without giving users access to any other site. SureFox Basic in conjunction with SureLock can help you achieve this lockdown configuration. Following settings will be required<\/p>\n

1. Allow SureFox as an allowed application in SureLock. Select „Hide Icon“ for this so that SureFox application launch icon is not visible on SureLock home screen<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. Configure SureLock to accept Shortcuts created in system.<\/strong><\/p>\n

3. Create your URL Shortcuts from SureFox<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

Detail steps are as follows:<\/p>\n

SureLock Settings:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Launch SureLock<\/strong><\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> Access SureLock Settings<\/strong> by tapping 5<\/strong> times on the screen, within 3<\/strong> seconds<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> Tap on Allowed Applications<\/strong><\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> On Allowed Applications <\/strong>screen, tap on Add App<\/strong><\/p>\n

5.<\/strong> On Allowed Applications <\/strong>screen, tap on SureFox<\/strong> and select Hide Icon in Home Screen<\/strong> option<\/p>\n

6.<\/strong> Tap on Done<\/strong> to return to SureLock Settings<\/strong> screen<\/p>\n

7.<\/strong> On SureLock<\/strong> Settings<\/strong> screen, tap on Manage Shortcuts<\/strong><\/p>\n

8.<\/strong> On Manage Shortcuts<\/strong> screen, select  Accept New Shortcut<\/strong> option<\/p>\n

9.  <\/strong>Tap on Done<\/strong> to complete<\/p>\n

10.<\/strong> Exit SureLock<\/strong><\/p>\n

SureFox Settings:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Launch SureFox<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. <\/strong>Access SureFox Settings<\/strong> by tapping 5<\/strong> times on the screen <\/strong>within 3<\/strong> seconds<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> Tap on Allowed<\/strong> Websites<\/strong><\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> Tap on Add URL<\/strong> and enter the URL of the website you want to allow<\/p>\n

5.<\/strong> On Add\/Edit Allowed Websites<\/strong> screen, tap on the allowed website and tap on Shortcut<\/strong><\/p>\n

6.<\/strong> On SureFox<\/strong> Settings<\/strong> screen, tap on Browser Preferences<\/strong><\/p>\n

7.<\/strong> On Browser Preferences<\/strong> screen, select Allow exit using Back Button<\/strong><\/p>\n

8.<\/strong> Tap on Done<\/strong> and exit SureFox<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now, if you launch SureLock<\/strong>, you will see the shortcut of the website listed on the home screen.<\/p>\n
