Lockdown Android devices in minutes with SureLock Quick Settings

SureLock Modes

 

SureLock is always evolving to deliver robust lockdown for your Android devices with easy to use features. We understand that our customers have different business needs and support dynamic set-ups which demand quick and easy lockdown process. Now, SureLock comes with a new feature – Quick Settings. This feature can turn your Android device into a kiosk or mobile workforce-ready field device in just few minutes.

Be it Single Application Mode or locking down of device with access to more than one allowed application, this feature can help to achieve it in just few taps.

SureLock- Single App Mode-Calendar

Here is how you can lockdown the device with Single Application:

  1. Launch SureLock
  2. Tap on SureLock Home Screen 5 times within 3 seconds to launch the password prompt 
  3. Use SureLock default password – 0000 (four zeros) to login
    surelock_login_prompt
  4. On SureLock Settings screen, tap on Quick Settings quick-settings
  5. On Quick Settings screen, tap on Single Application Mode from the given optionsquick-settings-single-app-mode
  6. On Single Application Mode screen, select the desired application and tap on Nextquick-settings-single-app-mode-app
  7. On Peripheral Settings screen, make the necessary changes and tap on Next   quick-settings-single-app-mode-pheriperal
  8. On Finish screen, tap on Launch to complete quick-settings-single-app-mode-launch

 

Now, once you are back on SureLock Home Screen, the selected application will launch in full screen mode and all other functions on the device will be restricted.

 

SureLock- Multiple App Mode

Here is how you can lockdown the device with Multiple Applications:

  1. Launch SureLock 
  2. Tap on SureLock Home Screen 5 times within 3 seconds to launch the password prompt
  3. Use SureLock default password – 0000 (four zeros) to login   surelock_login_prompt
  4. On SureLock Settings screen, tap on Quick Settings  quick-settings
  5. On Quick Settings screen, tap on Multiple Application Mode from the given options    quick-settings-multiple-app-mode
  6. On Multiple Application Mode screen, select the desired applications and tap on Nextquick-settings-multiple-app-mode-select
  7. On Peripheral Settings screen, make the necessary changes and tap on Next   quick-settings-multiple-app-mode-pheriperals
  8. On Wallpaper Settings screen, set a wallpaper, title for Home Screen and Icon size and tap on Next   quick-settings-multiple-app-mode-wallpaper
  9. On Finish screen, tap on Launch to complete  quick-settings-single-app-mode-launch

Once you are back on SureLock Home Screen, the selected applications would be listed with the set wallpaper, title and icons.
