Filter web content on iPads and iPhones using SureMDM

According to one of the recent reports, almost 80% of smartphone owners use their mobile devices to access the internet. 1. Login to SureMDM Web Console

2. On SureMDM Home, click on EMM from the top bar

3. On EMM screen, go to iOS tab and click on Add

4. On iOS MDM Profile screen, tap on Web Content Filter, give a name to the profile and click on Configure

5. On Web Content Filter screen, go to Blacklist URLs and then click on Add

6. On Blacklist URLs prompt, enter the URL and click on Add

7. On successful addition, the URL will be added under Blacklist URLs

8. Click on Save to complete

Whitelist bookmarks

To whitelist bookmarks on enrolled iOS devices, follow the below mentioned steps:

1. Login to SureMDM Web Console

2. On SureMDM Home, click on EMM from the top bar

3. On EMM screen, go to iOS tab and click on Add

4. On iOS MDM Profile screen, tap on Web Content Filter, give a name to the profile and click on Configure

5. On Web Content Filter screen, go to Whitelist Bookmarks and then click on Add

6. On Whitelist Bookmark prompt, enter following details and click on Add

  • Title – Name
  • URL – URL of the bookmark
  • Bookmark Path – Path of the bookmark

7. On successful addition, the URL will be added under Whitelist Bookmarks

8. Click on Save to complete

Auto Filter

To auto filter web contents on enrolled iOS devices, follow below mentioned steps:

1. Login to SureMDM Web Console

2. On SureMDM Home, click on EMM from the top bar

3. On EMM screen, go to iOS tab and click on Add

4. On iOS MDM Profile screen, tap on Web Content Filter, give a name to the profile and click on Configure

5. On Web Content Filter screen, go to Auto Filter and then click on Add

6. On Filtered URL prompt, enter the URL which is to be allowed and click on Add

7. You can also check Enable Auto Filtering to automatically block all webpages with adult content and only allow only allowed URLs.

8. Click on Save to complete
