Getting Started with SureLock(Android)
Requirements

Installation Steps
- Download and Install SureLock setup from Android Market Place(Recommended) or from our file servers directly.
- Alternatively, you can download the setup on a PC and copy the apk file to device's SDCARD and launch the setup file.
- Accept the permissions to continue.
- Once the installation is complete, a shortcut will appear in the list of installed apps on the device.
First Launch
- Launch SureLock from installed apps list.
- In case a 3rd party application is already set as homescreen, SureLock guides you to clear the default Homescreen(See the image on the right). Follow the on-screen steps and click "Home" button
- SureLock requests you to make it the default Homescreen for complete device security(See the image on the left)
- Agree to the License Agreement
- SureLock is ready to lockdown your Android device
Initial Configuration
- On first launch, SureLock Homescreen looks like this.
- Tap on "Back" button or in any empty area of your device within 3 seconds to launch the Password Console of Admin Area(See image below).
- Enter the password(Default is set to 0000)
- You can perform following actions in the Admin Area(See image below)
- Allowed Application: Add/Modify/Remove applications to be allowed on the SureLock HomeScreen.
- SureLock Settings: Manage SureLock UI, configure advanced lockdown and peripheral settings.
- System Settings: Manage your device OS Settings without exiting from SureLock's Lockdown environment
- Import/Export Settings: Configure multiple device on the go via Import/Export functionality
- Exit SureLock: Disable SureLock's Lockdown environment to return back to normal device state
- Uninstall SureLock: Uninstall the SureLock application completely from the device
- About SureLock: Find options to Activate/Deactivate the license, find SureLock's version and device-related information
Press Home button to exit the Admin Area
