Founded in 2009 in Bangalore, 42Gears is a privately owned company. Founder, Onkar Singh has worked in the software development industry for more than 11 years. He worked at Symbol Technologies (now part of Motorola) for more than 8 years as a software technical lead for excellent engineering teams responsible for building Windows Mobile and Windows CE based rugged handheld devices. Prior to Symbol/Motorola, Onkar had worked at various positions in different companies where he was involved in developing mobile and process control software applications.
